About Us

VBC, also known as Virginia Book Company, originated in 1986 as a more affordable bookstore on the VCU campus. By 2005, we had become a trusted spot for VCU gear, school supplies, and everyday campus essentials. In 2023, we shifted fully into what we do best-apparel, gear, & gifts and all things VCU. We moved into the two-story Victorian home right next door. After converting the house into a bright and unique retail space, we reopened with an even wider selection of VCU, RVA, and Greek merchandise.
