Museum District Postcard - 5" x 7"

Mad Kitchen Co. began documenting cities through illustration in 2020. At the height of the covid-19 pandemic and protests, Owner & Artist, Madison Pollard began drawing the widely-loved small businesses which make her home base of Richmond unique, colorful and comforting. Moving back towards her food & travel roots, Madison also illustrates food-related subjects as well as other cities. Through her artwork, she has branched out to other states within the US and countries beyond.

This illustration of the Museum District neighborhood of Richmond, Virginia was completed by hand and with watercolors as a part of my second series of Richmond illustrations. This print features the following businesses and sites of the Museum District: Chiocca's, Virginia Museum of History and Culture, The Stables, Black Rabbit Tattoo, Belmont Butchery, Belmont Pizzeria, Ekoji Buddhist Temple, Sheppard Street Tavern, The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, North End Juice Co., Rosewood Clothing Co., Izzy's Kitchen, Bandito's, Akida and Lemon Cuisine of India.
